I received an Abydos building set for Christmas. It’s from Stargate: SG-1, a favorite sci-fi show.

A sister suggested I take before and after photos, and I thought y’all might like to see them.

So awesome. I’m enjoying my new toys. Merkin and BratzBasher find it rather hilarious.
Of course, I’ll have to make a couple of changes. For one thing, Daniel has grey hair. Not accurate. We’ll have to paint it. And add a gold tattoo to Teal’c's forehead. BB found a horn-shaped bit of plastic that we’re using as an artifact for Daniel (an archeologist) to play with, but I don’t have a close-up of that.

I got books and sweaters for Christmas. And socks. Lots of socks. And Santa gave me a nail file. I think he wants me to break out of here.

I got the Love Comes Softly boxed set. It’s OK, be jealous.
